„Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen
Vielen Dank für diese sehr strukturierte und inhaltlich sehr interessante Schulung! Der Anteil der Gruppenarbeit und des theoretischen Teils war ausgewogen (wobei ich den theoretischen Teil wahrscheinlich dank des MIRO-Boards gar nicht so empfunden habe).
Ich habe aktuell die Rolle des POs in einem Scrum-Team in SAFe und für mich ist es immer wichtig, den Nutzer im Blick zu haben, wenn ich Features und Storys priorisieren muss. Da wir nicht immer den direkten Kontakt zum Endnutzer haben, sondern viele Features vorgegeben bekommen, arbeiten wir sehr viel mit Hypothesen. Wir alle wissen, dass Hypothesen nur Annahmen sind, aber die Methodik, uns das mit dem Lean UX Canvas immer wieder bewusst zu machen, fand ich sehr aufschlussreich. Und mir ist klar geworden, dass es nicht immer eines großen Aufwandes bedarf, mehr Nutzerinformationen einzuholen, um auf der Wahrheitsskala mehr nach oben zu kommen. Ich werde den Lean UX öfter benutzen.
Was mir noch Probleme bereitet hat, waren einige Definitionen bzgl. Output, Outcome, Benefits. Dazu werde ich mich nochmal informieren.“ [...]

We were pretty lucky getting Dominik Maximini and Boris Steiner, two excellent trainers and coaches! We had many great discussions during the PSM II training. They relly helped us understand the deeper meaning of the values and principles behind scrum. They created an open and trusted environment, within each participant could speek freely and ask questions. „Wie, schon vorbei?
"Wie, schon vorbei?" dachte ich mir am Freitag um 17 Uhr, als die zwei sehr intensiven, spannenden, interessanten und wirklich extrem lehrreichen Tage mit Boris und Glenn um waren.
Mir wurde von Kolleg:innen viel vorab versprochen und die beiden haben wirklich alle Erwartungen übertroffen.
Sie haben uns ganz gemein ausgetrickst, um die Liberating Structures näher zu bringen, uns aus der Komfortzone raus in unbekannte Situationen mit wechselnden Teammitgliedern geworfen und durch kurze Aufgabenintervalle unser "wahres Ich" gezwungen zu arbeiten! Also sowas hatte ich auch noch in keinem Workshop :D
Ich kann den Kurs wirklich absolut empfehlen für jede:n die/der nicht nur das "how to" lernen möchte. Und vor allem auch denen, die nicht für das Zertifikat nach der Prüfung in einen Workshop gehen.
Gerne hätten wir da auch von Montag bis Freitag draus machen können und ich hoffe, dass ich nochmal die Gelegenheit habe, an einem Workshop von Euch teilzunehmen!“ [...]

Although the course unfortunately had to take place as an online course it was nevertheless extremely interesting and offered me and my colleagues interesting insights into the area of Agile Leadership. The discussions and excercises with Boris and Glenn were very enlightening.

„Zusammenspiel von Scrum und Nexus interaktiv lernen
Das Training war sehr interessant und die Trainer absolut kompetent. Es wurde auf alle Fragen ausführlich eingegangen und hilfreiche Praxistipps gegeben. Ich als ziemlicher Scrum und Nexus Neuling konnte einige interessante Themen mitnehmen. „Professional Scrum Developer I (PSD I)
I've taken the 3 day course "Professional Scrum Developer I (PSD I)" held by "Peter Götz" and also successfully attempted the exam on 02.12.2021.
Imho the course was great!
- It wasn't boring at all and all the interaction kept the participants (or at least me) quite busy and focused
- It wasn't a classic "course solely focused on succeeding the exam" (as it unfortunately often is) and that's one thing I liked about it (even if others may disagree in this regard)
- I've taken away several useful things that I'm already able to apply to my "daily business" (e.g. "demand" ONE sprint goal, involve the PO far more often,...)
To prepare for the exam I absolved the suggested "demo exams" provided by scrum.org (Scrum- and Developer Open), read the scrum guide and a scrum "cheat sheet" and nothing more.
With the course and the above preparation I'd say the exam was fair.
- The time frame was very tight, but I understand the intention: Too much time would leave far too much room to cheat. But since there are no other measures to prevent cheating (like: 3 cams at least, no cellphones within reach, film the entire room prior to start,...), I was definitely ok with this. (otherwise I'd probably given the exam an unused pass)
- Already having achieved multiple ISTQB certifications prior was an extreme help since I already knew topics like TDD. Without this knowledge and only based on the info from the course the short time might have run out too soon.
- There was one question about a Burndown Chart (including a picture). Since we didn't discuss this within the course, I had to guess after eliminating the most improbable answers. After I gave this feedback, Peter stated, that he'd try to include it in future courses.
All in all it was a valuable and fun experience for me and I'd definitely join further courses like this one!

Das Review bezieht sich auf die Scrum Professional Product Owner 1 Schulung. Die Schulung mit Dominik hat mir sehr gefallen. Er hat die Inhalte spannend vermittelt und ein gutes, interaktives Lehrkonzept gehabt. Besonders hat mir gefallen, dass er nicht nur dogmatisches Scrum (relevant für die Zertifizierung) sondern auch viele praktische Aspekte (relevant für den Arbeitsalltag) gelehrt hat. Ergänzend zur Schulung gab es angemessene Unterlagen zur Wiederholung und zum vertiefenden Selbststudium.
